He completed his anesthesiology training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where his exceptional skills earned him the role of chief resident in his final year. Dr. Elbaz chose to further his expertise in pain medicine at Mount Sinai Morningside, part of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, renowned for its superior training in the tri-state area.
Dr. Elbaz’s distinguished career includes serving as the Director of the Pain Medicine Fellowship Training program at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital. Here, he educated numerous physicians in various pain management techniques. He holds a position as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and is a member of the New York State Pain Medicine committee.

The reception staff is kind to you from the moment you enter the buildings. The nursing staff is informative and wonderful. This office came highly recommended, and they did not disappoint. They performed lumbar discectomy and it was virtually painless. No scars. Very grateful to have gone here for my pain management, can recommend them.
From the front office staff to the back office was amazing. I got there early, I waited about 5 mins they called me into a room, and the doctor came in very shortly after. He was very thorough, empathetic, took his time.
